Carol McDowell’s musical background includes growing up singing and traveling with an accapella youth choir and also becoming a full time church organist at the age of thirteen. Carol grew up in a home where music was always welcomed and enjoyed. Carol also serves as a member in the Laurens Lions Club and is responsible for putting together the clubs monthly newsletter. 

Gerald Douglas is the owner and senior agent of Douglas Insurance Services, Inc. in Laurens, SC.  Gerald has been involved in music all his life, starting early singing in church with his Mother at the piano and his brothers providing harmonies.  He is the quintessential musician playing most stringed instruments as well as keyboard.  He is also the electronic expert that puts the group’s sound together.  Gerald is responsible for the music tracks used by One Way Music Ministry which are all original tracks recorded in his studio in Laurens.

Michael Hager began his musical career playing violin in his 6th grade orchestra. His performance experience ranges from rock and roll bands, to touring church choral groups and as a soloist in numerous weddings and events, as well as being a permanent member in several church choirs. He has had further experience on accordion, guitar, drums and percussion. Michael’s professional background is in graphic design, marketing and corporate image development and is currently employed as creative director for a company that supplies combat vehicle replacement and repair parts to our armed forces world wide.

Along with music, One Way Music Ministry has the privilege of having Herschel Gibbs as their chaplain and prayer warrior.  One Way could not minister without the intercessory prayer Herschel provides on their behalf.  Herschel is a licensed minister in both the Methodist and Baptist churches.  He has preached in several Southern states as well as on foreign soil in Romania as a missionary to the Romanian people.
